Beehive Vegan Canteen was envisioned as an ethical, commune, humane place with deep care for the environment. It was imagined as a safe space for locals, farmers, artists, artisans, and the community.
Beehive's core values are artsy, responsive to nature, vegan, ethical, friendly, and welcoming to folks.
Beehive's logo was designed based on a beehive icon idea, which forms into an extended B letter. Extended counter spaces open up as the space itself, welcoming the other bees.
Typography is also a variable type which is the influence of the community; sharp and smooth edges together.
Beehive's colors come from nature's harmony with pastel, muted, and bright colors with the contrast of soil's dark color, which brings us all together around farming, gardening, ceramics, and food.
